I would not hesitate to recommend Phil to anyone. He was so easy to talk to and work with. He understood my vision and having 3 kids was able to design a house that met all our needs for both a functional and well thought-out floor plan. We also live in a heritage community, so there were a lot of strict guidelines that needed to be adhered to. Phil was very knowledgable and worked diligently with the Town to make sure we were meeting all of the correct standards as well as trying to accommodate my wish list. We were also working against a very tight timeline and Phil always turned everything around in a quick and timely manner. We appreciate everything you did for us. Thank you, Phil!

Custom Cadd did the design and drawings for our full house renovation/rebuild . Phil and Aaron were amazing to deal with from start to finish. Great ideas, insight and feedback . Communication was excellent and all my questions were answered clearly and concisely. I would highly recommend Custom Cadd for any home renovation or new build projects. They are very busy but always make time to talk and are prompt in their response time. It has been a real pleasure working with them and i wouldn’t hesitate to use them again on any future projects.

From the very first moment of contacting Phil at Custom Cadd, we knew we wanted to work with him. He responded right away and his communication NEVER wavered once over the entire project. You have a question, you get an answer right away, you have an idea, you get an honest response, not just want you want to hear. The planning stage for permits, etc., can be complicated; however, the team at Custom Cadd made it so easy and seamless, as they helped every step of the way, and helped to push things along as well. When you have a wish list, and every wish gets met, you know you have a fantastic designer. Phil listened to our needs and to our family dynamics as to how we will use our home; and he captured it all! Ours was a challenging project as we were working with an existing structure, as well as an addition. Phil’s plans were exactly what we wanted, a look where the new and old appeared seamless. Phil would go through the designs with us meticulously. The designs were so clear and so easily understandable. Sometimes we would want to change a certain aspect and the changes were made, other times, Phil would really make us realize why he designed it that way, until we came to the conclusion that it did make sense and he was correct. We also probably (not probably LOL) drove Phil crazy with so many questions and comments, but Phil always responded immediately and never made us feel that we were a burden. We have already recommended Phil with no hesitation to a few people, which says it all. Honestly, don’t waste your time interviewing other designers/architects, you will go through the process stress free with Custom Cadd, we certainly did!

We were impressed with the reviews and work that were displayed on Houzz, and contacted Phil. He did not disappoint. He listened to our wish list, and came up with a gorgeous design for our lake house. We were impressed with his thoughtfulness, and thoroughness. He provides good, and balanced feedback, and is reasonably priced. We can’t wait to see this design become reality!

Along with my husband as the Designer and Builder, our experience with Phil was amazing! Upon our first meeting in which we brought our sketches and vision, Phil listened during our two hour meeting and then met with us a second time in which he made our vision a reality! Phil was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the completion of this Project. July 2016 – REview Update Our house is now several years complete. As I walk through the house, I’m grateful that Phil was able to work with us. It’s amazing how the little touches that he suggested throughout the house enhances our living experience. Instead of using the main hallway, the kids love the passage way to each other’s bedrooms. The kitchen you designed for us is practical, spacious, and loved! Really looking forward to working with you again on another project. If you are looking for someone who will put your vision on paper, I HIHGLY recommend Phil and his team. January 2013 – Review update We are now about 5-6 months into the actual construction. It has been interesting to see Phil’s design take shape. We have made very few adjustments to the actual design. In our numerous discussions of how to place the house, Phil has done a great job. We will have incredible amounts of sunlight flowing through the main living areas of the house during the day-ESPECIALLY during the winter months. At night, the bedrooms will be nicely sheltered by the winds that at times blow very briskly across the property. Great Job! These are the fine details that Phil was able to capture for us, which we didn’t even think about. I know that Phil had told us about the ceiling details during the design stage and for a non artistic person it was difficult for me to envision. Having seen it framed and how it fits with the arches through the hallway, and how at the end of the hallway, it is framed by a window that offers an incredible view, I have to say- I am truly impressed by Phil’s attention to details. Thanx Phil! March 2011 – Original review We worked with Phil recently. Phil was able to effectively listen to our needs/wishes and put our ideas into a design that we are very happy with. In terms of time, Phil and Matt were readily available for help and advice, often outside of “normal” work hours. They were willing to help in providing us with information about other trades that will help us achieve our goals. We have also shown the design to several builders for planning and logistics purposes and the general feedback has been that the design is coherent and well thought out. We will certainly call on Phil and Mat to do future work. It was a fabulous work relationship and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks Guys! They are not perfect, but pretty darn close.

Our experience with Phil and the other staff at Custom CADD has been exemplary. Phil listened closely to what our ideas and needs were for our custom home, then incorporated them into a design and style that genuinely reflects how we live. Throughout the design process we were continually impressed with Phil’s willingness to incorporate our ideas and being flexible to inevitable adjustments that needed to be made. Phil is very accessible and efficient: all work was completed and ready for our review in a time frame that made designing our own home a pleasure. Phil’s knowledge of building practices, products, and building codes have provided us with drawings that are so detailed they have made it easy for accurate and efficient quotations, engineering, and building. It has become obvious to us how dedicated Phil is to the homes he designs. He is truly committed to creating a product that his clients are pleased to build and live in, by supporting his clients from the initial consultation, his attention to detail along the design process, then continuing to be available throughout the building stages.

Prior to working with Custom CADD, we have had the opportunity to work with a designer and a leading, renowned architect on 2 previous occasions – once when building a house and another time when planning a major addition. Having had the experience of working with the designer, the architectural firm, and with Phil at Custom CADD, we are able to draw some important conclusions that we can share with others when comparing our experiences with each. First, neither the designer (who designed our first house), nor the architectural firm showed the same level of interest as Custom CADD. Phil provided more choices and expressed more valuable opinions than both the designer and architect combined. Second, Phil offered more creative ideas. At times, the architect surprisingly was less creative and the other designer was essentially lacking any creative ideas. Third, we were never made to feel uncomfortable with requesting changes and having numerous drafts done by Phil of key elements such as kitchen orientation, ceiling heights, bathroom configurations. Having a tolerant architectural designer is paramount in ending with a design that is exactly what you want. Having an architect or designer with a strong personality is less conducive to having you end up with what you want. Fourth, expect changes to be required, even after the final plans are required. Dealing with a flexible, and caring person, such as Phil, makes this critical period less troublesome. Phil, on his own accord redid exterior elevations with our dormers, windows and chimneys, never once complaining, and in fact was quite sincere in seeing the finished product further improved. Fifth, Phil handled all non-design details, such as getting information from the septic firms, the township, structural engineer, and builder. In summary, we were extremely happy, especially since we did not have one situation where we felt we could do better with someone else. Building a home is a stressful undertaking and working with Phil actually reduced the stress load greatly. Thank you!

David and I wanted to express our gratitude for your involvement in the planning and development of our home in Cedar Ridge. We were impressed with your ability to use our Wish List binder consisting of magazine tear outs, line drawings and rough sketches of floor plans to create the blueprints for our new home. Also very reassuring was the knowledge that we could call on you with questions from our builder or the Township offices during construction. Hopefully we can do a repeat performance in the future.

We have been a Design-Build company for over eighteen years, during which time we have worked with numerous drafting service companies. Some of these drafting firms have done a reasonable job for us, however many have been a literal nightmare. We had the good fortune when we hired Phil and his team to salvage plans produced by one of these other companies. Not only did we get a much superior set of plans, in record time and at a very competitive cost, but we entered into a successful long-term relationship. The results of this relationship are numerous; -no permit issues with building inspectors or their Townships -considerably less time required on site due to the plan details provided -material take offs are more accurate and efficient -less questions from on-site project managers -professional and detailed presentations One of the unique aspects of this firm is that they actually know how to build a house and are able to present clear and creative input, allowing us to have a superior end product. The bottom line is, we have had creative, interactive input from a very talented and supportive staff, the end result being that we have saved time, money and aggravation and we are always able look professional and organized to our clients I would highly recommend Custom CADD to anyone looking for professional architectural services at a fraction of the cost of an architect
